Senior Citizens Christmas Meal

On Tuesday 22nd December 2009, Fourteen Senior Citizens of Wood End came to
Tre Fratelli Restaurant for their Annual Christmas Dinner.

The funds raised provided a drink of their choice on arrival, followed by a Christmas Dinner from a choice of three different menus.

In Total £488 in Cash was raised plus all donations for the Hampers.

£293.85 was spent on 14 Christmas Dinner’s plus 2 x Hampers provided to two residents not able to attend.

Balance £194.15 remains which will go towards the Christmas Meal for 2010.

Tre Fratelli Restaurant and The Cross Keys Public House are thanked for their Support and Fund Raising for this event and for providing such a fantastic location and service to the Senior Citizens.

Thanks also go to Georgia, Emma and Debbie for providing such outstanding music for Carol Concert.

Thanks go to Karen & Bev for drawing the Raffle and delivering the leaflets and their Support.

Cottage Garden Flower Shop, Kempston is thanked for their kind donation of the wrapping for the hampers.

But Most Of All, The Community are thanked for their overwhelming generous donations for the Hampers and support of this event.
